  • Dinner at the place of Camping – Ayapata.
  • After breakfast, we continue with our walk to the Pacaymayo Valley – Hidden River, considering this route the longest and most difficult due to the presence of slopes during the climb until we reach the Warmi Wañusca Pass – Mujer Muerta that is 4215 meters above sea level, where we will have a short break to appreciate the beauty of the landscape and resuming our walk we will descend to the Pacaymayo Valley where our lunch will await us.
  • After lunch we begin to ascend for approximately 02 hours to the second step called Runcu Raccay where we will have a small break to appreciate the scenic beauty and the 02 huge waterfalls that are located on the opposite side of the valley.
  • Resuming our hike again we will descend until we reach a magnificent Inca site called Sayacmarca – a town otherwise inaccessible place where we will make a brief tour and at sunset we can enjoy the sunset over the Vilcabamba mountain range, until we reach the Chaquicocha site – Lago Seco that is located at 3,600 meters above sea level where it will be our second camp and where we will enjoy our comforting dinner.
  • At the end of dinner, if you are not too exhausted, we will make the observation of theserellas where we will appreciate the fascinating constellations Incas, andn the magnificent sky of the southern hemisphere, far from all the artificial lighting.
  • Very early in the morning after Our breakfast at 6:30 am approx. we will resume our adventure where after a 02 hour hike we will begin to enter the jungle, known as the Cloud Forest, during the route we will have the opportunity to see and photograph the Salkantay mountain until we reach the last Phuyupatamarka peak that is 3600 meters above sea level from where we will have excellent views of the Urubamba River, place also where we will have our first view of the Machu Picchu mountain, until we reach our last camp that will be near Wiñay Wayna – Siempre Joven.
  • Wiñay Wayna is the most impressive site on the route followed by Machu Picchu and the most popular camping spot due to its proximity to Llaqta from Machu Picchu. During the descent, we will visit Inca archaeological centers, Phuyupatamarka, Intipata and Wiñay Wayna and then we will arrive at our campsite around 1:00 pm for lunch, then the rest of the afternoon we will have free to relax for the last day of the tour.
  • In the evening we will have our last dinner and as usual we will have a ceremony where the team will be presented as porters, cooks, chef and the guides this in order to thank them for the great work done to be able to fulfill the itinerary established for our adventure. (if you want to provide a tip for them, then you can do it right at that time.)
  • It is recommended to rest early, since the next day the trek will start very early in order to reach Machu Picchu at dawn, with the hope that the weather will give us a beautiful sunrise in the wonder of the Modern World Machu Picchu.

This day is the most important and expected by visitors because we will know one of the 7 wonders of the modern world the lost city of Machupicchu or also called the Llaqta of Machupicchu and we will start with:

  • Breakfast at 4:00 am and we will start a short walk to reach Intipunku – Puerta del Sol. From this place you can see Machupicchu in all its splendor, then we will begin to descend to reach the Inca citadel.
  • Farewell to our team of porters, chef and cooks and then walk the last stretch of our adventure towards the Puerta del Sol (Intipunku).
  • In Machupicchu we will have a guided tour throughout the Inca citadel of approximately 2:30 hours.
  • Finishing the tour we will take the return bus to Aguas Calientes where we will have a free time until the time of embarkation of the return train to Ollantaytambo.
